Below are links that will take you to advocacy organizations, tools, and maps that are relevant to the Omaha cycling community. If you know of others, please let me know.
Omaha Fixit Stations – I put this map together to let folks know where to find repair stations in the Omaha area. This is a fluid list, subject to change, and available to all. Please let me know if you see any necessary corrections (or other corrections, for that matter.)
Bike Parking in Omaha – So you’re headed downtown, but not sure where the closest bike parking to your destination will be. Well, thanks to Omaha Bikes and Omaha’s Planning Department, here’s a map that shows where to lock up your beloved wheels. (NOTE: These are the racks that have been installed by the city. There may be other racks around that friendly businesses put in.)
Omaha Bikes – Primary bicycle advocacy organization for the city of Omaha.
Mode Shift Omaha – Works to promote alternative transportation of all kinds within Omaha/Council Bluffs.
Nebraska Bicycling Alliance – Advocates at the state level, lobbying the unicameral and giving voice to the cycling community.
